About
Gould Property
Company
As long-term owners with in-house expertise cultivated across three generations, we’ve developed capabilities spanning land acquisition through property management. This enables us to pursue projects that demand extensive entitlements, civil engineering, and community engagement. That changes how we think about everything from the finishes to the future of the block, motivating us to invest beyond our property lines and show up as neighbors who are here to stay.
Our Drivers
01
Proven Foresight
We see what a place will need decades before it’s obvious, positioning ourselves early for the region’s evolution.
02
Deliberate Selectivity
We’re selective about what we develop and deliberate about how we build it, pursuing projects built to last.
03
Enduring Impact
We measure success across generations, delivering exceptional results while shaping a capital we’re proud to call home.
04
Neighborhood Investment
We build genuine relationships and invest in the surrounding community because we’re here for the long-term.
05
Sustainable Practice
Since 2006, every new development has achieved LEED Gold or Platinum certification, our baseline for buildings that perform better over time.
06
Active Ownership
We remain directly engaged in the places we create because the work doesn’t end at delivery.

We Build Neighborhoods,
Not Just Buildings
We create communities through deep relationships and long-term presence. We invest years before breaking ground, founding Business Improvement Districts, funding infrastructure that benefits the broader area, and building the relationships that turn blocks into neighborhoods. That starts with our most senior leaders being in the details. We realize that shouldn’t be noteworthy. And yet it is. We stay accessible and responsive, and we’re present for decades as active members of the communities we help shape.

Sustainability That
Sets Standards
Since 2006, every new development has achieved LEED Gold or Platinum certification, our baseline for responsible development. When we observed water management needs during the development of 600 Massachusetts Avenue in D.C., we created solutions so effective the city adopted them as their standard. We weren’t aiming to influence policy. We were just trying to build the right way. By prioritizing carbon reduction, energy efficiency, natural light, and open spaces, we develop responsibly for the people inside our buildings and the city around them.
