Minutes from Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon, the building’s continued performance reflects both the quality of its original construction and the foresight that shaped it.
Early Investment, Lasting Infrastructure
Kingdon Gould Jr. acquired this land in the 1960s, when Crystal City was an industrial area whose primary strengths were its proximity to Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon. Over the following decades, we developed a mixed-use block encompassing hotel, office, and residential, and became a founding member of what is now the National Landing Business Improvement District. When Concord was developed, deliberate decisions around finishes and energy efficiency were made to ensure the building would remain competitive long after delivery.
