Concord

Concord

A Residential Tower in a Key Location, Built on Decades of Foresight

Concord is a 412-unit, 18-floor residential tower in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, part of the National Landing neighborhood. Minutes from Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon, the building’s continued performance reflects both the quality of its original construction and the foresight that shaped it.

Our
Approach

Early Investment, Lasting Infrastructure

Kingdon Gould Jr. acquired this land in the 1960s, when Crystal City was an industrial area whose primary strengths were its proximity to Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon. Over the following decades, we developed a mixed-use block encompassing hotel, office, and residential, and became a founding member of what is now the National Landing Business Improvement District. When Concord was developed, deliberate decisions around finishes and energy efficiency were made to ensure the building would remain competitive long after delivery.

Impact

Premium Performance and Neighborhood Stewardship

Concord continues to command premium rents and high occupancy, competing favorably with buildings delivered years after it. Our longstanding involvement in the National Landing BID reflects the depth of our investment in the neighborhood’s success. Those early commitments, to the land, to the community, and to the quality of what we built, helped lay the groundwork for the broader revitalization that has transformed National Landing.
